WAT IS AN END USER”?

An End User is an entity (entire or part of an organisation) at a specific physical location which needs to connect to the Verification System to be compliant with the Delegated Regulation.

It is the element “location” that differentiates one End User from another End User. Reason is article 13(a) of the Delegated Regulation specifying that reverting the status of a decommissioned unique identifier is only possible in the same premises where the decommissioning was performed.

As a result, different user accounts will be allocated to the different entities that might belong to the same organisation, such as the different pharmacies in different sites of a hospital, the different warehouses of a wholesaler, the different pharmacies of a pharmacy chain.

Examples of multiple End Users by organisation:

eindgebruiker - wholesaler
eindgebruiker - pharmacy
eindgebruiker - hospital
